IZ-Loyalty

It's not really a straight story, it's more like bits and pieces of one.
So I'm quite fond of s' ZADR fanfictions. And I was getting my fill, since I've been on a dry spell recently. And I read this delightful little piece of naughty fluff [link] . And at first I just enjoyed it, but of course, my mind decided it was going to have none of that and turned it into a tragedy.
Well sort of. My brain played out two scenarios at the end of this. Which I'll get into in a minute. First, what's going on here ^. The first two are directly inspired by the story, except hers hand no clothes on apparently. You may want to read it first....
Anyways, a talk about loyalties comes up, and they both decide pretty much not to decide. Kinda. They"re both happy at the end (which I think is why my mind went "NOPE")
The pictures following the first two are what went on in my head. Why is Dib in a coat, because he works now and I love P.Membranes lab coat thing. Dibs heading home from the store (Where he texted Zim, "Do you need anything"), normal domestic stuff. After he's done Zim texts him again (first one was a no) and "asks" him to get bleach, so he can disinfect the entire house...again. Which is why Dib rolls his eyes but complies. And on the way back to the store, gets jumped. Mugged? You get the point. The little clock says 12:23, it was late and dark and he was tired. 3 rolls around and Zim actually has the mind to worry(which he hides under very convincing irritation). He goes to find him at the store, but it's already closed, and tries to call him on the way back, and hears Dibs phone in the alley he's passing. His phone is connected to his PAC, BTW, out of convenience... So, Dib got the piss beat out of him, almost literally. He's in such awful shape because he gave them a run for their money, probably busted a few ribsand broke a few noses, but there were more of them than him, so he ended up in the alley bleeding out. Zim calls Gir to bring the Voot quickly. The "I would have picked you..." thing, ties back into that story you maybe haven't read yet. It's Dib talking, and well, apparently his concussion made him realize he loved Zim more than Earth. And here's where it gets fuzzy....
Now, scenario one is Dibs dies. Zim finds the muggers, and kills them in ways I can't possibly put into words, and destroys Earth in a rage, to return home with "honors" he doesn't really care about anymore.
Scenario two, is Dib lives but is unconscious for awhile, Zim finds the muggers, and kills them in ways I can't possibly put into words, then uses the opportunity while Dibs healing to destroy Earth and get his little wormbaby the hell away from all these crazy monkeys. Which upon regaining consciousness, Dib is not pleased about, but gets over it quickly when they start going on chaotic adventures that usually end in the unintentional(sometimes) destruction of whatever unfortunate planet they visit. Which is actually the ending I prefer, but I can't stop making tragedies in my head. It's not healthy.
